Happy Friday everyone! We’ve made it through another week and now it’s time to do the Happy Friday Dance and get ready for the weekend.
This week’s Five Things Friday is about what’s in my gym bag. It’s a new year and the gyms are packed with New Year’s resolution-ers committing to get fit for 2013. Whether you’re a hardcore gym rat, or just starting out (and good for you either way!), these are a few things I find useful/necessary for a successful gym session.
1. iPod Nano
I rarely can get through a workout, whether it’s running, weights, or the elliptical, without music. I like that the Nano can clip right onto to my shirt/pants and has an FM radio option for when I’m sick of my music.
2. Workout towel
To wipe off all the
sweat liquid awesome.
3. Water Bottle
Hydration is important. I tend to have water bottles stashed all of the place, and I always make sure there is one in my gym bag.
4. Face wipes
I prefer to shower at home rather than at the gym. These wipes are great to quickly clean my face post-workout.
5. Workout cards
So that’s a quick look inside my gym bag. There are a few other things in there, training log, lock, hair ties, etc., but these are some of my can’t leave home without it things.
