Congratulations, we made it through the first week of 2013! How’s everyone doing with their resolutions/goals for this year? This week was my last plan-less week of training. Here’s a quick look back
Monday
Easy four miler to close out 2012.
Tuesday
Happy New Year! TRX Multisport Strength Workout.
Wednesday
4 mile treadmill hill workout.
Thursday
3 mile treadmill speed workout.
Friday
Rest day.
Saturday
Long run day! 5 miles.
Sunday
1 hour beginner yoga class.
The Good: Highest mileage week since Philadelphia Marathon + longest run (5+ miles). Actually did some strength training.
The Bad Not As Good: Misread class schedule so I missed out on spin this weekend. Not a big deal.
What’s Next?: Start Cherry Blossom training! Two easy/regular runs, 1 speed workout, and 1 long run. Cross/strength train at least 1 day, yoga at least 1 day.

Great job! I ran 6 miles, MY longest run since Philadelphia!!! I also added some great yoga and pilates. Feels good to be training again and to be “rested”…aka ready to tone up ;-D
